This weekend London will again play host to the start of the men’s fashion calendar.
London Fashion Week Men’s AW19 kicks off today (Saturday) at the new location of The Old Truman Brewery and to ensure you’re able to keep up with what’s going on, I’ve pinpointed eight guys you can rely on for all the street style highlights and key catwalk trends.
Hit follow on these fashionable fellas…
Jonathan Daniel Pryce (@garconthestreet)
Garçon Jon has a talented knack for being in the right place at the right time.
At last season’s shows he was celebrating ten years of street style photography in partnership with Vogue Hommes. I am in no doubt he’ll capture the best dressed in and amongst the crowds at The Old Truman Brewery once more.
Richard Biedul (@richardbiedul)
Perhaps best known for his modelling career, Richard is now a designer in his own right with King & Tuckfield – his collection was showcased at LFWM in June. While I have no doubt he’ll end up on most best dressed lists, you might also find him in the designer showrooms, as well as walking the runway for Oliver Spencer.
Mikko Puttonen (@mikkoputtonen)
Mikko is one of my favourite menswear bloggers and though he has relocated to Berlin, he’s back for LFWM. Expect Mikko to be sharing some of the best bits from the shows this season on Instagram and his blog in the only way Mikko knows how: with a creative and editorial slant.
Geoff K. Cooper (geoffkcooper)
The Evening Standard Insider’s Geoff Cooper is a safe bet if you want to get a real insight this weekend. Never standing still, I’m most certain he’ll be on hand to story most of the shows, presentations (and parties) as they happen.
Bruce Pask (@brucepask)
While London Fashion Week Men’s is a celebration of menswear and homegrown talent, it is also the first chance for buyers to see the AW19 collections. Bruce Pask is Fashion Director of Bergdorf Goodman so expect to see refined coverage of what Pask is looking for this season.
Jack Guinness (@jackguinness)
After backstage access to a show? Expect madness and excitement. Our advice is to take it easy, rest up and just watch model and presenter Jack Guinness’ stories throughout the three-day event as we’re sure he will be providing us with plenty of behind the scenes action.
Yu Fujiwara (@8and2)
With LFWM comes a plethora of street style shots shared online. I’m a fan of Yu’s style of photography throughout the fashion calendar. Often candid and personal, you’ll get a real taste for the atmosphere following Yu this weekend.
Joe Ottaway (@joeottaway)
Menswear consultant Joe Ottaway is stylist to none other than British model David Gandy and gives off plenty of #menswear inspiration himself.
