It’s hard to know what to expect from a luxury brand that comes out with a sports watch. Many times, users are left disappointed and feeling that sports watches created by luxury timepiece companies are just not good enough.

Thankfully, that isn’t the case with Vincero, as The Rogue is one to meet the expectations of many timepiece aficionados from all over the world.

With a slick design, high-quality materials, and an affordable price tag for a luxury watch, The Rogue is one of the best sports watches that you can get in 2020. We’ll be breaking down how it’s done, what’s so good about it, and what leaves a bit to be desired.

Watch Overview

The Rogue feels like a completely unique watch from the moment you first put it on. It’s one of those timepieces that come with a “clustered” design that, somehow, still doesn’t feel like too much for a sports watch. It’s designed with stainless steel, sapphire, and Italian marble, which are combined to create a fancy design that feels very lightweight at the same time.

As long-term aficionados of Vincero watches, we have to say that this design was a big surprise for us. We weren’t’ expecting to see such a drastic change in design when this watch first came out, but The Rogue delivers a high-quality design that begs to differ from the norm set by Vincero themselves.

As an added bonus, this timepiece’s internal design (courtesy of Seiko) manages to keep the watch on time whilst also making the battery last for as long as can be.

All in all, The Rogue far surpassed our expectations. It’s comfortable, easy to wear, goes with almost every outfit, doesn’t feel heavy, and looks extremely good.

The Rogue Watch Pros & Cons

If you’re in a bit of a rush, we’ve compiled a list of pros and cons that perfectly sum up what you can expect to get with the purchase of this watch.

The Rogue Pros

  • The watch is super bright, which makes it ideal for all occasions
  • You won’t have any synchronization issues
  • It’s extremely lightweight
  • Even though it’s one of Vincero’s most expensive watches, it’s still on the “affordable” side of luxury timepieces
  • High-quality materials make for a product of extreme quality

The Rogue Cons

  • One could argue that the watch is a bit too big for a sports watch, although this shouldn’t be an issue unless you have very small wrists

Case & Unboxing

Much like it is the case with every Vincero watch that we’ve purchased, The Rogue comes in a black rectangular box with a foam cushion inside, where the watch rests. Vincero adds a small thank you note inside the box to show some appreciation to the buyer, which we think it’s a pretty cool touch.

We do have a small issue with the box, though. With The Rogue being such a unique Vincero model, we would expect the box to be a tad different. Any change to the classic design, as small as it might be, would’ve been very nice to see in such an innovative timepiece model.

The box is, however, still very pleasing and we have no complaints about it whatsoever. Apart from the watch, you’ll also get a small book with instructions related to the watch itself. It’s a watch-specific booklet to help you ease up the setup process and clear out any doubts that you may have about the timepiece.

Dial – Minimalism is Left Aside

The dial of The Rogue is a bit cluttered, but every single thing on the display serves a fantastic purpose. You can count on the watch to provide you with a true impact when you look at it, as all of its dial elements add depth to the design.

With that said, if you’re a fan of watches with minimalistic dial designs, The Rogue is definitely not for you. However, if you love multi-dial designs, you’re going to adore this timepiece.

It can often be difficult for a watch designer to adapt various dials into one timepiece, which can result in an overly complex design that just doesn’t look good. The Rogue is completely different, as it provides users with a handful of dials in an area where every single one of them looks easy to understand and see under almost any circumstance.

The Rogue Case – Classy but Comfortable

Made with stainless steel, the case of The Rogue is matte and keeps your watch from shining too much – even when exposed to direct sunlight. The design of the case seems to be quite suited for a couple of reasons. The first one is that the case itself is as lightweight as you’d want a sports case to be, and the second reason is that it’s designed quite well in terms of its size.

In fact, we’d go as far as saying that the size of this case is flawless. You can wear the watch with dress shirts (although it might be a bit too big for some people), but it’s ideally worn for day-to-day activities.

The case and all buttons look well and symmetrical, which adds to the whole proportion of the watch and keeps it looking good.

Some people might say that the case is a bit thick, but we think that its thickness adds to the whole design. It’s part of Vincero’s brand, after all, and you might be better off purchasing one of the company’s smaller watches if you don’t want a regular-sized sports timepiece.

Movement – Seiko Delivers Once Again

The inside design of The Rogue is made using mechanical quartz, which is one of the classiest hybrids that the timepiece industry has to offer. It still makes the inside of the watch inexpensive, which serves a good purpose in reducing the overall cost of the watch. With a different movement design, the watch could be twice as expensive.

You can count on the watch not having any issues for the foreseeable future thanks to the quality of this internal design.

If you’ve been paying attention to the watch industry in the last three decades, you might’ve noticed that the Seiko hybrid design is just starting to gain popularity once again. This is because Seiko had actually discontinued these designs (primarily used in the 80s), but they have reintroduced them once again and bolstered their success.

You’ll also notice that the dial is much easier to reset with the Seiko hybrid on the inside of this watch. If you’re going to put those multi-dials into good use, you can rest assured that they will stand the test of time.

The Rogue Watch Comfort – Wearing Vincero’s Top-of-the-Line Timepiece

The stock strap that comes with this watch is already good enough, but should you decide to make a change, the strap is easily removable and you will be able to get a new one from the manufacturer itself.

However, as we’ve mentioned before, The Rogue doesn’t necessarily benefit those with small wrists. You could have the watch feel a bit loose depending on the size of yours.

The stock strap, attached to the well-designed case, makes this item an extremely comfortable piece of wear, albeit it can be a bit too big for some wearers.

The fact that you can also easily change the straps makes the watch an even better sports watch and a much more versatile timepiece. You won’t have any issues deciding what to wear if you intend to put on this watch, as you can just change the strap to adapt the watch instead of your outfit.

The stock strap is also made of leather, but there’s an even further benefit about this. The strap will suit your wrists straight away and you won’t feel it change shapes after a few weeks of wearing it, as it is often the case with other watches (often even made by Vincero themselves).

With The Rogue, you can count on the watch to offer a consistent feel of comfortability for as long as the watch is yours. We only recommend changing the strap once a year if you’re wearing the watch on a daily basis, but it’s an otherwise world-class timepiece.

Conclusion – A Watch that Stands the Test of Time

Vincero’s Rogue watch might be one of the newest timepieces on the company’s large collection of watches, but it’s already become one of our all-time favorites. This beautiful piece of sportswear is going to suit most of your day-to-day activities, as it goes with casual outfits as well as with most elegant outfits as well, provided that you don’t mind wearing a slightly bigger-than-usual watch on you.

In any case, the design of The Rogue is meant to last and the watch itself looks as good as you can wish a casually luxury watch to look. Vincero might be quite new at venturing into the world of sports watches, but if the ones to come are as good as this one, we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us in the future.
